Volunteer Activities Count!

"Your resume doesn't list any previous job experience. Why should I consider you for this opening?" Young people and first-time job seekers can have a tough time answering this question, especially if they've never had a paying job.

This is an excellent video that shows young people how activities in and outside of school can provide great rewards. These activities provide great enhancements for writing resumes and answering questions in interviews.

And sometimes these activities provide valuable first work experience in careers and jobs that young people have targeted!
