Richard H. Beatty is an internationally known consultant with considerable hands-on experience in human resources and staffing. His 14 career books—including The Interview Kit, The Perfect Cover Letter, The Resume Kit, The Five-Minute Interview, 175 High-Impact Resumes, and 175 High-Impact Cover Letters—have sold more than 1 million copies worldwide. He is the founder and Chairman of Brandywine Consulting Group, Inc., which has provided training and support to thousands of individuals, at all organizational levels, who have undergone career transition as a result of corporate downsizing. Before his executive search career, Beatty was employed as a human resources executive with the Scott Paper Company, a Fortune 100 company, where he worked as Corporate Staff Human Resources Manager and Manager of Technical Employment. In this capacity, he was responsible for all technical hiring for the corporate staff of four operating divisions and 13 manufacturing facilities.
